HOUSE HUNTER
A drama written & directed by Jacqui Mata Luque
 
Synopsis
Peggy’s husband Albert passed away five weeks ago. A woman attending his funeral offered to help Peggy sort out the paperwork involved with his passing and visits everyday to make sure Peggy is alright, claiming she has known Albert for many years at the local lawn bowls club. Confused in her grief and loss she agreed.
 
Characters
Peggy: 70s, pale & frail.
Joyce: 70s, in good health.
Mariska: 45+, brash and mean (Russian accent).
Danny: 30s-40s, a buffoon.

THE GREATEST SPEECH IN THE HISTORY OF HUMANKIND

Synopsis
In the year 2050 the President of the world must make the greatest speech in the history of humankind in order to save the human race. Unfortunately, there is no autocue, the speech can’t be found, and he doesn’t know what to say…
 
Characters
Jenkins: the President’s personal assistant – 30s-60s. Preferably male but could be female.
Gladys: The makeup lady – 40s-60s.
The President: 40s-60s. Male.
The Security Officer: Big security-type. 20s-60s. Male.

Synopsis
A ‘long-lost’, but rich Aunt Elizabeth is calling for the first time; good impressions must be made to secure a mention in her will. However, hilarious confusion reigns supreme as three Elizabeth’s turn up for a triple dose of mistaken identity.

Mildred Smith-Smithers: a dithery, upper-middle-class matron. 30s-50s. Female.
Harriet: Mildred’s avaricious mother. 50s-70s. Female.
Nubilia: Mildred’s plain teenage daughter. 20s. Female.
Eloise: the Smith-Smithers’ maid. 20s-30s. Female.
Liza (otherwise known as Elizabeth the First): 30s-50s. Female.
Elizabeth (otherwise known as Elizabeth the Second): 30s-50s. Female.
Liz (otherwise known as Elizabeth the Third): 30s-50s. Female.
